Darkride

To celebrate the 75-year anniversary of the Efteling their world full of wonders will come to life in a grand dance performance choreographed by Ed Wubbe. Darkride is a visual and musical journey that invites you to embrace the unknown and rediscover your childhood wonder.

Led by a mysterious magician a party of dancers and acrobats will travel through a world in which nothing is what it seems. The performance lets you experience wonderfull landscapes, unexpected encounters and ever-changing emotions. From dark to light, this story showcases poetry, suspense and imagination.

Experience the Efteling's music on stage!

Specially made for Darkride, composer René Merkelbach took famous music from the Efteling and turned it into a theatrical composition. Vocal artist Luca Warmer gives this music extra colour and takes the audience on an adventure through an enchanting sonority. The combination of music, dance and acrobatics ensure the performance will feel both familiar and  surprising.
