Ecstatic Dance met DJ Kareem Raïhani

Kareem Raïhani is a pioneer within the international Ecstatic Dance movement. Often described as the “Shaman of Dance,” many of his own productions and remixes have become staples within the Ecstatic Dance scene. For years, he has brought dancers together from all over the world with his unique approach to music, rhythm, and connection. With his signature mix of deep grooves, organic beats, tribal rhythms, and hypnotic melodies, he takes you on a musical journey where you can fully immerse yourself in the dance. His roots lie in the Netherlands and Morocco, and with a background as a professional dancer, he found his true calling as a musical guide.  
 
He is known for his intuitive way of mixing. He feels the energy of the space and carefully builds his sets: from stillness and subtle sounds to powerful, uplifting rhythms and back to a place of relaxation. His music invites transformation in a free and expressive dance where every movement can arise as it presents itself. Each set unfolds as a unique journey. In that magical moment, you no longer dance to the music, but let the music move through you. Where thinking gives way to feeling and dancer becomes one with the dance. 
 
For over twenty years, Kareem Raïhani has inspired dancers and DJs worldwide with his distinctive style. His mission: to blur boundaries, ignite transformation, and connect people to their essence through music and movement. 

The evening will be opened by Léon Beckx 

Léon Beckx has been guiding people towards greater body awareness, expression, and connection for many years. Drawing from his experience with dance, somatic movement, and various forms of movement, he creates a safe and playful setting where you can land and start moving from your body. 
 
His playful opening invites you to get out of your head, feel your body, and connect with yourself and the space around you. 
 
Ecstatic Dance is a free form of movement without words, choreography, or stimulants. The dance is your natural high! You don’t need to be able to do anything or meet any requirements. The music is the guide, and your body determines the movement. A place to let go, feel, and completely go wild to the music and in the dance.
