Workshop: The Floor = L.A.V.A.

The workshop is led by Fernando Roldán Ferrer, repetitor and teacher at Compagnia Zappalà Danza, and Nicola Monaco, repetitor at ICK Dans Amsterdam, and consists of two parts: a first section where participants are introduced to MoDem – the movement method of the Sicilian company, and Double Skin|Double Mind, the movement method of ICK, followed by a challenge around Devil’s Staircase: learning a challenging movement fragment from the performance that will also be actively shared on social media as a challenge. The different components come together in one energetic workshop that allows participants to actively engage with the material and the world of the performance.
