Nederlandse Dansdagen
The Nederlandse Dansdagen, literally means Dutch Dancing Days, is the festival that celebrates the richness of Dutch dance – from classical ballet to hip hop, from established names to emerging talent. Every year, the best of Dutch dance comes together in Maastricht for a vibrant festival full of performances, encounters, and stories. But it doesn't stop there: from now on, the Dutch Dance Days will kick off the Dance Days across the Netherlands, starting in Enschede!
ND believes that dance is for everyone. Dance has the power to touch people, bring them together, and help them step out of their heads and into their bodies. That’s why they are building a national platform for dance encounters from the ground up in Maastricht, closer to the audience and right in the heart of society.
With the Dance Days, we bring dance to new places throughout the Netherlands, in collaboration with local theaters, creators, schools, and other partners. This ensures that dance is close by – both literally and figuratively. Whether you are a seasoned dance lover or discovering dance for the first time, we invite everyone to experience what dance can do. From large performances to intimate shows in community centers or on the street: the Dance Days are coming to you.
In this way, we are taking steps together towards a vibrant dance climate in every region – step by step, city by city.
